Gay Men's Chorus Of Los Angeles Presents The 2nd Annual Voice Awards
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Macias Media Group) The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles (www.gmcla.org), whose mission is to change hearts and minds through the power of music, is pleased to present the second annual Voice Awards presented by First Investors. This year the organization will honor American Idol, AT&T, activists Fred Arens and Jason Duguay , and writer/director Liesel Reinhart . The Voice Awards will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the Globe Theatre in Universal City and will be hosted by Wilson Cruz with performances by Alex Newell (Glee) and De'Borah (The Voice).

"I'm thrilled at this year's slate of honorees who exemplify what GMCLA and our Voice Awards stand for. I'm especially excited that American Idol accepted our invitation to honor them. They've changed the face of music and in the process exposed the world to talent that we might never have heard," said Christopher Verdugo , Executive Director of GMCLA.

American Idol will receive the Visionary Voice Award for its talented group of contestants and alumni continuously voicing their support for equality. AT&T, GMCLA's first sponsor, will be awarded the Corporate Voice Award. Arens and Duguay will receive the State Farm Good Neighbor Voice Award. Reinhart will be honored with the Ally Voice Award.
