LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Sticky Toffee PR) Hiddenman (real name Michael Okuromade) has loved rap music since childhood - he got into rap music when he was 16 and began developing this talent soon after. He has since continued to flourish in his distinctive style. He is determined to take his music to the streets and reach people with relevant messages to see their lives impacted in a positive way.
Since releasing his self entitled album Hiddenman in 2010, he has performed at the Soul Survivor, New Wine and Lark in the Park festivals, The O2 venue in Herfordshire University, Noting Hill Carnival and a host of other places. Apart from performing, Michael also delivers various different workshops, events and motivational talks, challenging young people about what they allow to influence them and encouraging them to make better choices. He believes that his hard-hitting lyrics will cause people to search their souls and break negative mindsets.
In 2011 he won the Unsung Heroes award, given by the South London Press for the positive work he does in the community.
His clever blend of comedy and ability to get the crowd moving has created a new type of rap, yet he's not willing to compromise his values and beliefs in his music. He is a rap artist with a Vision that refuses to conform to the normal negative stereotypes associated with rap music who has taken it upon himself to be an inspiration to as many as his music can reach.
Hiddenman now presents his brand new single 'Music Wid A Mission', which will be available as a free download from 07/05/13. The single sees Hiddenman team up with Husky, Navigator, Chuka Royalty, Reign of Fire & 1 Elevate to present a refreshingly positive piece of UK hip hop straight out of the capital. This impressive latest single is a high energy uptempo release, with a catchy chorus, positive and inspirational message and highly infectious beat. The track is accompanied by a fast paced, eye catching visual courtesy of director Kwesi Mills.
