LOS ANGELES (www.cswpr.com) - Singer/songwriter John Waite, whose remarkable 20-year career has spawned numerous hit singles including the No1 radio staple " Missing You" and "When I See You Smile," is performing live at a free concert at The Grove on Wednesday night. Waite, who fronted The Babys and Bad English before starting a successful solo career, is releasing his new album " The Hard Way" on September 21. Waite will be performing songs from the new CD along with some of his past hits. Opening for Waite is classic soul and alternative rock band Virgil, whose new album "My Paradise" was nominated for the Rock Album of the Year for the 2004 L.A. Music Awards.
