New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Better Left Unsaid official website) Modesto, CA's Better Left Unsaid have released the new track "Exile The Righteous" from their upcoming new album online with AOL Noisecreep at https://www.noisecreep.com/2013/03/26/better-left-unsaid-exile-the-righteous/. The group's upcoming new self-titled album was recorded ProView Studios in Riverbank, CA Studios with producer Adam Ruppel (Systematic) and will be released this spring on Epochal Artists Records/Capital Music Group.
"'Exile The Righteous' is a song that draws upon the bands personal influences from the San Francisco bay area thrash scene. Bands like Exodus, Testament, Death Angel, and Metallica definitely had an influence and long lasting effect on us and we set out to pay homage to them the best we could," said drummer Brent Terry. "We don't consider ourselves to be a thrash band, but did want to have fun writing a song that was rooted in our musical upbringing. This is definitely a favorite of ours to play live and hope it becomes a fan favorite as well!"
Better Left Unsaid have been making noise within the underground metal world and caught the ear of Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta who signed the band to his own label, Stillborn Records, for the release of their debut album "The Fight Within" in 2008. The group combine influences ranging from the thrash of Testament, the grooves of Pantera and the sheer attack of Machine Head into a modern metal sound that stands tall beside the likes of Threat Signal, Soilwork and Meshuggah. The band has relentlessly toured across the country and in 2011 the group's persistence paid off when they were offered more than 50 shows opening the Hed to Head Tour II alongside (Hed)p.e. and Mushroomhead.
