Hill Country Live Hosts Whitehorse, Paul Burch, Sunny Ledfurd, Colin Linden, The Howlin' Brothers, And More This April
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Hill Country Live, NYC's go-to destination for Americana, alt-country, and roots music, brings Luke Doucet's supergroup Whitehorse, Entertainment Weekly's "modern day Jimmie Rodgers" Paul Burch, the man who mixes Snoop Dogg with David Allan Coe Sunny Ledfurd, The Band and Lucinda Williams co-conspirator Colin Linden, Warren Haynes and Brendan Benson's favorite young band the Howlin' Brothers, and many more to their 26th St roadhouse this April.

Apr 4 - Whitehorse - Six Shooter Records' Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet tie the musical knot with the debut of their new band, Whitehorse, marrying their talent and chemistry on stage as a smoldering duo. Individually, Luke and Melissa have been recognized by the Juno Awards, the Canadian Folk Music Awards, the Hamilton Music Awards, the Independent Music Awards and the Polaris Prize.

Apr 11 - Paul Burch - Called "a modern day Jimmie Rodgers" by Entertainment Weekly and "thoroughly modern but completely unlike contemporary country" by USA Today, Paul Burch has made fans of everyone from Marianne Faithfull to Chet Atkins in his two-decade career. After having collaborated with Mark Knopfler, Ralph Stanley, and Tim O'Brien on previous records, Burch teamed up with the Waco Brothers for last year's Great Chicago Fire, released on Bloodshot Records.

Apr 13 - Sunny Ledfurd - Born in Chattanooga TN and growing up in Gaston County NC, Sunny Ledford taught himself guitar at age 15. Inspired by Guns n Roses, Snoop Dogg & David Allan Coe among many, Sunny's songs continually mix genres and push the envelope. With songs like 'I Don't Remember Last Night', 'Pontoon Boat', 'Adderral', and 'Myrtle Beach', Sunny takes you through life in the south as he sees it and lives it.

Apr 22 - Colin Liden - In his 40 year career, Colin Liden has worked with and produced The Band, Bruce Cockburn, Lucinda Williams, T-Bone Burnett, Leon Redbone, and many more. He is a founding member of Canadian folk-rock supergroup Blackie and the Rodeo Kings and won seven Juno awards on his own. This musical renaissance man is indeed a multiple threat - as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer - and has played on 300 and produced 60 albums.

Apr 24 - The Howlin' Brothers - The Howlin' Brothers are an American band through and through. From down right dirty blues, to hard driving fiddle romps, the brothers keep audiences on their heels with their diverse sets and energetic picking and singing. Brendan Benson called them "the real deal through and through" and Warren Haynes raved, "They are content to not worry with the current contemporary music scene and just build their own."
