NEW YORK (Bad Boy Records/Universal Records) - After a five-year hiatus from the music scene, Fo' Reel/Bad Boy recording artist Mase is back to making hits.
His new hit single, "Breathe, Stretch, Shake," is the No1 Greatest Gainer on the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap Charts. It was also the No1 Most Added song at Crossover and Urban Radio formats last week. The bass-heavy, energetic, dance single is exploding at top radio stations in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Atlanta, and more.
"This is the Mase that we've been waiting for!!!" said program director, Dion Summer at one of Miami's top urban radio stations. The pulsing club-banger produced by Rick Rock, is sure to bring the crowds back to the dance floor, just where Mase and Bad Boy Entertainment left them five years ago. It's a Top 10 Request song at crossover radio stations in San Francisco, CA, Sacramento, CA, Denver, CO, Charleston, SC and Reno, NV.

"Breathe, Stretch, Shake" will be featured on Mase's highly anticipated third album, Welcome Back, which will be released on August 24th. The album features other party tracks like "Money Comes And Goes," "Into What You Say," "My Harlem Lullaby," which contains an interpolation of the Madonna hit, "La Isla Bonita," and the set-up single, "Welcome Back."
The music video for "Breathe, Stretch, Shake," directed by Benny Boom, is set to premiere on MTV and BET on August 18th.

In 1997, Mase released his debut album, Harlem World which spawned hit singles such as "Feel So Good" (Platinum), "What You Want" featuring Total (Gold) and "Lookin' At Me" (Gold). Harlem World went on to be certified 4X platinum. In 1999, Mase released his follow-up gold album, Double Up and his group Harlem World's, The Movement album, which also is certified gold.

On April 4, 1999, Mase shocked the music world when he decided to retire from music and relocated to Atlanta where he pursued his faith and education.

Mase will promote Welcome Back by performing on various promo dates across the nation. Last week Mase premiered "Breathe, Stretch, Shake" on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and is slated to perform it on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn Show (August 20). He is also scheduled to make an in-store appearance at New York's Virgin Megastore on August 24th.
