Crown The Empire have announced plans for their first major headline tour. The Generation Now Tour, presented by MerchNow will kick off May 7 in Toledo, OH and run through May 26. The trek includes a stop at Skate and Surf Festival in Freehold, NJ on May 18th. Supporting Crown the
Empire on the entire run will be Capture The Crown, Palisades,
Heartist and Famous Last Words.

An underground favorite since 2010, Crown The Empire, grabbed the attention of the masses last November, when their Rise Records debut LP, The Fallout, cracked the Billboard Top 200 and landed at #1 on the Heatseekers chart. The band just wrapped up a stint on this winter's Take Action Tour with
The Used and We Came As Romans, and currently appears on the April cover of Alternative Press, where they are featured as one of the '100 Bands You Need to Know this Year.'
The 6-piece set out with a goal to separate themselves in a genre often cluttered with copy-cat bands. They combined their love for the hardcore genre with infectious, loud, and powerful choruses of generations before their own, and ultimately created a fresh new approach to heavier music. Combined with an equal drive to connect with every last one of their fans, they hope to use whatever notoriety they receive to spread a simple message of belief in yourself, and hope in others. Their debut EP "
Limitless" self-released in November of 2011 furthered this idea of zero boundaries on what you're capable of, and has even spawned the name for their fans: "The Limitless". Through touring and a fantastic web presence, the band has built an incredible foundation of fans. Case in point: Parts 1 and 2 of Crown The Empire's extended music video, "Oh, Catastrophe/The Fallout," has racked up well over 2 million combined views on Youtube since its debut.
