New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ EMI) Thirty Seconds To Mars new single "
Up In The Air" will be launched into space tomorrow. The band members will be in Florida to watch the launch of the second SpaceX cargo mission to the International Space Station. The company's Falcon 9 rocket carrying its Dragon cargo capsule is scheduled to lift off on Friday, March 1, at 10:10 a.m. EST from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The capsule will be filled with more than 1,200 pounds of scientific experiments and cargo - and the first copy of "Up In The Air." Up In The Air" is the first single from the band's fourth studio record, which will be released later this year. The album follows This Is War, which contained the No. 1
Modern Rock radio hits "
This Is War" and "Kings and Queens." Artifact, a documentary about the making of This Is War, won the People's Choice documentary award at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and the Audience Award at the 2012 Gotham Independent Film Awards. The film will be screened at SXSW on Wednesday, March 13.
