Hill Country Live Host John Corbett, Billboard "Artist On The Verge," And More This March
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Hill Country Live, DC's go-to destination for Americana, alt-country, and roots music, brings 'Sex and the City' and 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' actor John Corbett, Paste's "new and refreshing" Giving Tree Band, and more to their Capital Hill roadhouse this March.

Mar 8 - Connor Christian & Southern Gothic - Equal parts modern troubadours, back road poets and outlaw rockers, Connor Christian & Southern Gothic create gritty, soulful songs of experience, with a dustbowl sensibility. The band was recently named an "Artist on the Verge" by Billboard.

Mar 15 - Cory Morrow - A native of Houston inspired by Texas songwriting greats like Robert Earl Keen and Townes Van Zandt, Morrow has recorded with the likes of Pat Green and Owen Temple in his 15-year career. When he first started out, Morrow set about creating personal music that harkened back to the heyday of Willie Nelson's progressive country movement in the 70's, and he continues that tradition with 2012's 'Live at Billy Bob's Texas.'

Mar 21 - John Corbett - Corbett first found fame as an actor, working on 'Sex And The City', 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding', and 'Northern Exposure'. However, his first love was always music. His self-titled debut album, released in 2006, climbed to No. 42 on Billboard's Country Albums chart. Slant Magazine credits the album with "straightforwardly good country songs" and Corbett's follow-up 'Leaving Nothin' Behind' drops this year.

Mar 29 - The Giving Tree Band - Paste called them "new and refreshing" and Relix said " this "folksy bliss is the sound of a group playing as one." Led by enigmatic brothers Todd and "E" Fink, The Giving Tree Band are making their way to the head of a classy class of young American songwriters and performers. The group will perform with a wide array of instruments, including acoustic, electric and slide guitars, and banjos, violin, mandolin and pedal steel.
