4-Time Cancer Survivor, Musician; Seeks Sponsorship For Online Community
Jacksonville, FL (Top40 Charts/ Ryan Hamner Music) 4-time survivor of cancer and singer-songwriter seeks sponsorship for his online community designed to reach other cancer survivors. Ryan Hamner, who has battled cancer since the age of 5, founded 2survive in 2011. 2survive is an online community that provides information on cancer prevention, recovery, diet, exercise and natural supplementation.

Hamner wishes for his online community to provide others impacted by cancer with hope and inspiration. He thinks this can be achieved by sharing his own experiences and through other survivor stories that are posted on both the Facebook fan page and on the website. "It has been a one-man job from day one. - I love what I'm doing and enjoy seeing 2survive grow, but I'm ready to take it to the next level," Hamner said in regards to the future of 2survive.

Hamner, who also wrote and illustrated the book for children with cancer, "You'll Be All Right, Buddy!", published by Blue Cross Blue Shield in 1999, founded 2survive in 2011, shortly after returning from his "Hear the Heart" tour. "I was having some medical issues at the time I created 2survive - but I remember building the website on a computer that was given to me. - I actually hand-coded the website in notepad. - It was quite a job!" Hamner said.

During the "Hear the Heart" tour, Hamner toured the South performing at clinics, hospitals, Hope Lodges and children's camps. Recently, Hamner wrote and recorded the song, "Where Hope Lives" for the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.

The opportunity with the ACS came shortly after Hamner recorded his song, "Survivors Survive" and posted a homemade video for the song featuring real survivors. The video quickly spread across social media and provided Hamner with opportunities to speak, perform and reach other survivors. "I never expected that my music and story of being a survivor would emerge like it has, but I feel blessed - I'm excited about my music and about 2survive being used to help others," Ryan said.

To learn more about 2survive, to sponsor 2survive or to share your story, visit https://www.2surviveonline.com, email info(at)2surviveonline(dot)com or call Ryan Hamner at 706.315.7934.
