Colorban Releases Newest LP "Eclipse"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hip-hop singer and composer Colorban has released his standout debut full-length album, "Eclipse." The record includes 11 original tracks for an approximate total of 30 minutes playing time. The music is upbeat, energetic, and optimistic, a celebration of celebration itself and absolutely suited to club dance floors, parties, or casual listening. Although Colorban's style is essentially hip-hop, his Jamaican upbringing and penchant for the music of artists such as Bob Marley infuses everything he creates with a thick, beautiful overtone of reggae.

Colorban also names as major influences on his music Sean Paul, Shaggy, Chris Brown, and the late Tenor Saw. His parents moved with him to the United States when he was still only eight years old. Six years later, at 14, he began making his own music. It was the beginning of a long, wonderfully creative career, much of which would be spent writing songs that would never make it to this, his flagship debut album.

The talent of Colorban as showcased on "Eclipse" is staggering. Not only can the man write music and sing, but his rhythms in rapping with his unique, reggae-esque style are boggling. Colorban's dazzling talent at this is perhaps best shown in "Man ah Prince," a dance single that is pre-packaged for DJ success at clubs worldwide, hands down. While the chorus is the most obvious portion of the track, the unstoppable staccato of Colorban's verses are, line after line, inimitable. Track after track, it is Colorban's vocal work that makes the record great. The power of his delivery on tracks like "Haffe Win Her Heart" and "She Hot Like Lava" is enough to sit the listener down for the remainder of the album. Whether the music fan is a regular partaker of hip-hop, reggae, rhythm n' blues or not, "Eclipse" is a fantastic listen from start to finish.

Colorban's "Eclipse" is available worldwide beginning February 14, 2013.

The LP "Eclipse" is distributed globally by MondoTunes (www.MondoTunes.com) and is available at iTunes or www.top40-charts.com for convenient purchase and download.
