New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ink Different Inc & Artist.MTV are proud to present BARS 2.0: Season Two, which has been five years in the making.

The acclaimed series which debuted in 2008 focused primarily on New York artists but this time we will travel nationwide to showcase the most talented emerging emcees we can find. It featured artists such as Skyzoo, Mickey Factz, Blu, Jon Hope, Outasight, Torae, and Homeboy Sandman just to name a few. This groundbreaking initiative helped introduce the online community to some of the most successful artists you hear about today and we are for the hip-hop community of tomorrow.

This series is presented by Executive Producer Donny Goines, CEO of Ink Different Inc., Artists.MTV (mtv.com/artists) and Co-Executive Producer Jake Hart. "You can't buy your way on BARS," says Goines. "Your record label cannot secure an appearance on this series. All talent is handpicked by myself at my sole discretion. The word 'bars' to me means lyricism, clever wordplay, and amazing punchlines and as an emcee myself, I will continue the tradition of hip-hop I was raised on. With that being said, BAAAARS!!!!!!!".
