
NEW YORK (www.rapfest2000.com) - On August 14, 2004, from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM,
Salem Temple Assemblies of God Church, located at 1408 Bryant Avenue in the Bronx, hosts their tent annual Rap Fest. This event features 26 Rap Ministries (groups) from various cities, states and countries.

(Bronx, NY), Crowned 1 (Bronx, NY), Desiree Renee (New York), Foreign Tongues (Monroeville, PA), Fros' T (California), Han Soul (Philadelphia), Izrael (Sacramento, CA), John the Baptist (Delaware), Crossed Out (Bronx, NY), Light Da' Flow Minista (Pittsburgh, PA), Neginoth Soldiaz (Virginia), NFINITE (Minnesota), Rawsrvnt (Florida), Rock Soul Entertainment (New Jersey), Sean Slaughter (Virginia), Sev Statik (Albany, NY), Sincere
Israel (New Jersey), Sons of God (New York), Soul Majestics (Bronx), Todd Bangz (New Jersey), Vizunari (Connecticut), Ziglak Boys (Atlanta), and more.
There will be a host of DeeJays, such as DJ NuMan [Salem Coffee House, DJ Vaungh [DC, Graffiti Artists, and Break-dancers Soul Majestics as well. All participants will be displaying, not only their talents and passion for the hip hop origins, but their love for God and desire to worship Him with their talents and abilities.
Last year, approximately 5,500 people, throughout the course of the day, visited Rap Fest 2003. Due to heavy promotion via the Internet, radio (WFDU), television (BET)and great news spreading by word of mouth, we anticipate even a higher attendance this year. This is a free outdoor event for everyone. Press passes are available on site for the media personnel attending.

Rap Fest 2004 features 30,000 Watts of sound, 26 Rap Ministries, 8 Hours of music, all for 1 God, Jesus Christ. Rap Fest's goal is to evangelize the community through hip hop music and offer them an opportunity to trust in God as a solution to their everyday problems and help in their times of trouble.
Worldwide attention, by way of the Internet, has helped this event grow from 50 people (who attended the 1st one 9 years ago) to over 3,000-4,500 people in most recent events. We strive to make an impact in lives and pray that people's lives will change for the best through our combined efforts.
