Joe Perry tweeted "Aerosmith is playing the last US show tonight in Nashville could not think of better town music wise to wrap the tour. "
And we could not agree more. Twenty amazing songs by a powerhouse group.

Dream On" and thinking you had what it takes to sing like Steven Tyler?
Well, next to the rag doll and other toys in the attic, or maybe beside the rats in the cellar,
Aerosmith albums from days gone by were being dusted off and bringing back memories as the train kept a rollin' towards Nashville; the final destination on their Global Warming Tour. December 13, 2012 marked the end of their 26th tour promoting their 15th studio album since the band was established in 1971.
This was the first time for me to see
Aerosmith live and it was unforgettable.
Watching
Steven Tyler take the stage with his floor-length, flowing jacket and long, unkempt hair — dude looks like a lady crosses the mind, but only for a brief moment — he bursts into song, pouring out with sweet emotion and then everything is consumed by the music.
Aerosmith fans are far from jaded, to the extent that one yelled to Steven that they 'wanted to make love in an elevator to him'…. words one would never expect to hear uttered at such a show. I hope you are getting the sarcasm here.
Anyways, movin' on.
Listening to Steven and Joey come together on the drums with a dueling rhythm combination had the entire arena livin' on the edge of their seats barely hanging on with each beat.
Oh yeah, and don't let me forget Steven's mad people skills. I have never been to a show where an artist throws that many items on his person into the masses on front row. It was sensational. From what I could tell he gave fans the floor-length jacket and several jewelry items, like bracelets and such. My thought was 'wish he would walk this way so that I could catch some
Aerosmith bling.' No such luck. Several times he borrowed front stage observers hats, scarves, sunglasses, etc and put them on while performing. At one point in the show he took a fans video camera on to the stage and did a 360 turn with it. You know they were cryin' with joy for having that experience.
Aerosmith had great visual effects for the performance. The lighting, camera views/shots, timing … essentially the overall production was above and beyond par. With the green screen projecting behind the band with numerous images, depictions, and visual aids, I don't think there was a bad seat in the house.
As the show came to an end, the fans were relentless in their cries for 'one more song.' Smoke and lights hit the stage and Tyler rises from the trap door on a piano. Wrapping up the finale with cannons shooting out confetti and then an introduction of the band mates.

They also hold the record for the most gold and multi-platinum albums by an American group. The band has scored 21 Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, nine number-one Mainstream Rock hits, four Grammy Awards, and ten MTV Video
Music Awards. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and were included among both Rolling Stone's and VH1′s lists of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. And the best part is that they are still making new music, like "Lover Alot" from their 15th studio album,
Music From Another Dimension!. This album was also, the first album in over 10 years that featured all new material. It's just brilliant.
I could summarize that entire story by simply stating that
Aerosmith is one of the last, if not the last child of a dying breed of rockers that have continued to outstand the test of time.
