NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - The BBC has issued a statement backing up viewers who complained about Eminem's "Top Of The Pops" appearance with D12, saying that the rapper ignored the network's request to "tone down" his performance of "My Band" with the group.

The Brit broadcaster says, "Although his gestures were part of the rap culture, they had gone beyond what was expected."
A total of 12 (twelve) viewers filed complaints about the performance!!! Can twelve viewers to affect the majority of UK society (the country has 80 million population) and they forced one of the biggest networks to issue this kind of statement?

According to BBC, yes. So, the conservatism, the cultural hypocrisy and the ignorance about the Rap/hip-hop music culture is here to stay...

- Ooh, by the way, last month Eminem & D12 gave a special live performance for the Chinese State Broadcaster: nobody 'communist' complained and none hasn't request from Eminem to change anything at his show...
And the question is: 'Where is the freedom of an artist?' Everybody knows that Eminem uses 'bad' characterization in its songs: the next step is to ban all Eminem songs from the radio in UK if just 100 people ask it?
