Team So Real was founded in Peekskill, NY by Focus and Blak, who died in 2005 due to a tragic car accident.

Team So Real got their start in music by making homemade tapes with friends. Compromised of close friends Shaziik and Focus, the aspiring rap duo has a perfect chemistry when crafting music, which is widely known in their hometown area. After performing regional shows with great success, the two rap renegades quickly became a household name in the greater New Jersey area. The group's blazing production combined with witty and catchy lyrics prompted the streets to rally around Team So Real as a group to watch out for.
