Action Jets Release Debut Single "Action Jets (Time For The)" B/w "Rock Like Pollard"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Action Jets Official Website) Calling all rockers and mods, all poppers and sods, it's time for the Action Jets! Rock and roll classicists ACTION JETS are here with their debut single. "Action Jets (Time for the)" b/w "Rock Like Pollard". It's up at https://actionjets.bandcamp.com and is available for free streams and downloads. As all good singles should be, each song comes in under 3 minutes.

Combining a theme song and a tribute song, Action Jets' debut single makes a case for the emotive power of rock 'n roll, filled with a little Westerberg whiskey and a lot of Pollard panache. The single consists of the immediate rockers:

- "Action Jets (Time for the)" turns a Wedding Present-inspired riff into a rousing rock stomper, with a chorus that practically wrote itself, named the band and fueled the aesthetic.

- "Rock Like Pollard" deserved to be written years ago, and Action Jets takes it home. Ticked off by Adam Levine's smooch to Jagger, Action Jets banded together around Bud Lights and guitars and took an 'Exit Flagger' approach to righting the wrong that is Robert Pollard's song.

Bringing it home under three minutes is what counts most for this young band of renegades. Left out in Phoenix, having to endure the desert's hippie-jam-folk-rock bubble, Action Jets cut to the chase and leave no rock unturned.
