LOS ANGELES (www.plan-r.com/ID2004/) -Too often a night of local music in Los Angeles is so unpredictable that fans merely go to see their friends and are then stuck in a room hearing music that they have no interest in. A group of Local musicians is changing all that. Independents' Day at the Knitting Factory Hollywood on Saturday July 31, 2004 will offer Los Angeles' music fans a full night of great music worth sticking around for. Five acts: ALSO, Juune, Plan-R, Virgil, and Pete Hopkins bring to the table so many accolades that it seems a shock that all are still independent artists. Their songs have been featured on MTV, VH1, and NPR. They have earned awards from Billboard Magazine and LA Weekly and one act even appeared live on an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It doesn't come as a surprise to hear that these artists are extremely hard working people but Los Angeles is no small town to conquer. By combining their efforts these bands are making a splash that is well worth your time. Independents' Day Knitting Factory Hollywood (main stage) Saturday July 31st An all ages show starting at 8 pm Featuring: ALSO • Juune • Plan-R • Virgil • PeteHopkins https://www.plan-r.com/ID2004/
