LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) - Christina Aguilera and Jimmy Smits will be the co-hosts for the second annual Latin Grammy Awards. Smits co-hosted the awards ceremony last year, while Aguilera is one of this year's nominees for the Best Record of the Year for the track "Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti" from her Spanish language album Mi Reflejo, which is also nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Album.

There's no word yet on whether Aguilera will perform as well. If so, she will join a lineup including Grammy and Latin Grammy winner Marc Anthony, and Destiny's Child, who will perform with Alejandro Sanz, who earned five Latin Grammy nominations this year, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for the title song from El Alma Al Aire, which was nominated for Best Pop Male Vocal Album and Album of the Year. Sanz was also nominated for Best Music Video for "Cuando Nadie Me Ve."

Also scheduled to appear at the show are Juanes, Alejandro and Vicente Fernandez, Nelly Furtado, Jennifer Lopez, Luis Miguel, Lou Diamond Phillips, Jon Secada and Thalia. The Latin Grammys will be held at the Los Angeles Forum on September 11th and air on CBS from 9 to 11 p.m. (ET).
