Led by a singer-songwriter-guitarist, Andrea Montgomery and drummer Mark Feldman, MANCIE hope that recent recognition from VICE MAGAZINE, naming the band as one of Brooklyn, New York's "best," will help them reach a greater audience.

MANCIE'S commitment to their home borough is strong, and their passion for music is even stronger. Since 2009, Montgomery and Feldman have been incrementally working up to "Hey Brooklyn!" a single from their self-released EP "Only The Wanted" (Spring/2012).

MANCIE's unique musical voice, plus their Guerilla marketing efforts (self-produced street concerts, a massive MANCIE mural in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and relentless postering and stickering) have earned the band slots at many of New York City's most discerning live music venues, including The Mercury Lounge and The Knitting Factory.

Guided by a simple mantra of: practice, practice, practice; play, play, play; repeat, repeat, repeat; MANCIE will next perform as part of the CMJ Festival on October 16, 2012 at Manhattan's Sullivan Hall.
