LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ ICMP) The
Institute of Contemporary
Music Performance is extremely proud to announce Mark Richardson (drums) and Ace (guitar) from worldwide rock legends
Skunk Anansie will be visiting the London school together in October. Having just released their brand new album
Black Traffic to critical acclaim,
Skunk Anansie are in the thick of promotion prior to going out on the road on the first leg of their European tour in November.
However, Mark and Ace have found time in their hectic schedule to come into the
Institute to spend time with the students, discuss their experiences, talk about recording their latest album, play some tunes and offer their unique insight into a successful career that spans over seventeen years in the music industry.
Skunk Anansie raised to fame in 1996 with their platinum selling album 'Stoosh' and have since released a further three albums. Drummer Mark Richardson also has experience drumming for
Little Angels and Feeder.
Institute students will receive an exclusive masterclass from the pair in addition to some smaller classroom visits. Students will have the opportunity to play along with the pair and have their questions answered.
Every year the
Institute strives to provide a high calibre of relevant masterclasses for students and this year sees Mark Richardson and Ace join a long list of highly talented musicians to visit the school including Jamie Humpries, Paul Stewart, Jeff Berlin, Kim Chandler, Doug Aldrich and Jennifer Batten.
This event offers students the rare opportunity to learn from two hugely experienced musicians. To find out more about this event, or any other of the Institute's masterclasses, please visit:
