Unkind Announce European Tour Dates With Voivod

Upper Darby, PA. (Top40 Charts/ Relapse Records) Finnish hardcore heroes UNKIND have just announced a slot opening for thrash legends VOIVOD during their upcoming European tour this Fall. The tour begins October 8th in Brussels, Belgium and wraps up October 20th in Milan, Italy. A complete listing of dates can be found below. The band commented on the upcoming run:

"We're all excited for this tour as we have been listening to Voivod since the eighties and still consider them to be on of the most important metal bands of their era. Their simplistic if still boundary pushing way of creating their sound can definitely be said to be a big influence for us."

Additionally, the band plan to enter the studio later this month to record their sixth full-length and follow up to Harhakuvat, which was released late 2011. Harhakuvat, the group's intensely dark hardcore opus and Relapse Records debut is available for streaming via Bandcamp and on CD/LP from Relapse and digitally via iTunes.

UNKIND has also previously released four full-length albums and a handful of vinyl-only releases. Three of these releases, Ei Mitään, Mieliemme Tuhkasta, and Hangen Syliin, were digitally reissued by Relapse last year.
