Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival
BOSTON, MA. (Top40 Charts/ Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival) Boston's biggest block party returns for its twelfth year with six hours of free, family-friendly jazz performances by over 15 artists on three outdoor stages. This year, the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival, presented by Natixis Global Asset Management, celebrates women in jazz, featuring free concerts by some of the

genre's most acclaimed female artists. Festival highlights include performances by new Grammy Award winner and Boston native Terri Lyne Carrington, Lalah Hathaway, and Paula Cole. Kids are welcome to explore their musical side at the "instrument petting zoo" within the Natixis Family Park. Festival goers won't leave with empty stomachs; BeanTown is home to vendors offering foods from all over the world. For more info and a full performance schedule, head to beantownjazz.org.

The free festival takes place on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. Located on Columbus Street between Massachusetts Avenue and Burke Street.
