Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Urban pop singer J. Silva has released the mixtape "Who Is J. Silva." The project is presented by Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotion and Life Music Group. The 17 track mixtape is now available for download and features DJs from around the world, AK of Do or Die and Scientific.

J. Silva is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Chicago. She fell in love with music at a young age leading to her sing around the house and write songs. After deciding to pursue a career in music, J. Silva released her first mixtape titled "Canvas Music." The project gained hundreds of downloads with no promotion in 24 hours.

In 2011, J. Silva released her debut EP titled "Digital Candy" featuring Violator DJ Naki The Beatman (producer for 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Twista, Ying Yang Twins) and AK of Do or Die. The single "Call Me By My Name" was played in clubs around the country and received a huge viral buzz. The EP is currently available on iTunes and other digital music stores.

J. Silva has worked with several artists including Jay Stonez, Yung Berg, DNG, Young Trey Rackz, and more. She has been featured on mixtapes and mix shows around the country, hundreds of blogs worldwide, Chris Brown's "Beautiful People" remix and her songs "Extra Sexy" and "Mr. Big Shot" were featured on the 2011 Alma Awards and 2011 Teen Choice Awards.

To date, J. Silva has received radio play on several commercial and satellite radio stations. She has been nominated for two Chicago Music Awards and won "Best New Entertainer." In her spare time, J. Silva donates time to charities. She has worked with the Massachusetts Ear & Eye Charity, The Betty Wood Foundation, the Tracy Murray Foundation, and more.
