New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Kut Official Website) With the Paralympic games in full flow, and London live music, fashion and performers being showcased in aplenty, it is great news that independent music also taking a share of the coverage and buzz. Having recently confirmed all female band, The Kut, for a performance last week at Olympic Park, Criminal Records have now received confirmation that their recent signing, Argonaut, has also been selected to perform at the Paralympics. Argonaut will perform at Olympic Park at 5pm on Sat 8th Sep, and it is brilliant news for the band who have only just released their debut with the label.
In addition, The Kut have been asked to perform for a second time at Olympic Park, but this time on the big stage over at the Band Stand. The girls, will perform for their second time this
Thursday 6th Sept at 7.55pm. All female rock band, The Kut, were initially selected as part of an initiative to showcase new talent in association with London 2012. This is another bout of good news for The Kut, who recently sold out their UK tour after coverage on NME TV.
Comprising of over 3,000 volunteers, and over 4,000 athletes, the Paralympic Games has seen it's first sell out, with GBR currently in 2nd place to China.

Having performed as finalists in the UK Hard Rock Competition, and currently in the top 20 UK bands in the UK Warped Tour competition, their recent sold out UK tour showed they can also put on a mean live show! Although well under wraps, their debut album is due out next year.

As the latest addition to the Criminal Records roster, Argonaut, have already been causing a stir with coverage dotted from
Europe to USA to Australia. The female fronted rock 5-piece signed up to Criminal Records earlier this year. Their debut single 'Touch Electric' is now available on iTunes, and showcases their grunge rock influences. This is a small snippet of what to expect when the band release their self-titled album later this year.
