NEW YORK (South Beach Courier) - News came as a shocker to Ricardo Diaz, 24 also known to in the vast hip hop community in Miami as "Iron Mullet". Ricardo, boasts a impressive Undefeated battle rap record in the area, and has long been deemed " One of the greatest " through out the community.
Though sources are scarce, Both Ricardo and Shady/Interscope have both confirmed that they had talks, and that a possible contract is in the work's.

Ricardos LP Titled "Adventures of Dr. Lettuce" has been in the works for over two year's. Ricardos previous label, Lil Joe records, was unavailable for comment, though sources say they are not happy with his breach of contract.

When interviewed earlier in his South Beach home, Ricardo told us " Man its a f****** dream come true, my agents been fighting for me, and we have been pushing demos left and right, but nothing seemed to happen, so to get this news now is a f******* relief to me, because now i can expand both artistically and have a label that can put my creative ideas to work, now get out of my house you b******'* ( Laughter )".

Ricardo appear's unphased by this overwhelming new's that many artist's dream of hearing, though those close to him say he is "dying of nervousness, as well as counting his blessings".
We wish Ricardo the best of wishes, and expect to hear some great music from him in the day's to come.
