LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Quite Great Music PR) Somewhere in the fabled back streets of Rome, five young men sharing a passion for creativity and music came together as if the stars had aligned, discovering their chemistry as artists and their shared love for the likes of Radiohead, Sigur Rós, Mercury Rev, Mogwai, Yeah Yeah Yeahs on the stages of the London's famous venues.

Open to explore and push this connection forward, Kruk embarked on their journey together as a band, entering the studio in March 2011, after an accurate selection of the material they had collected in the past few years. They kept recording for six months, forgetting about their lives, families, friends. Finally, once it all came together, they availed themselves of the collaboration of Steve Orchard as a mixing engineer (Travis, Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney) and the mastering skills of Kevin Metcalfe (Brian Eno, Cure, Prodigy, Moloko) at Soundmasters Studios in London.

The final product is their debut 'End It', an album that showcases a band with maturity beyond their years, combining their influences into multilayered compositions, bringing in a sophisticated simplicity that sees them incorporating subtle nuances into easily digested, catchy songs. Energetic guitar riffs, together with magnetic overall atmospheres and strong, refined vocals, make Kruk's music something new that stands on its own in all its originality.

When the album was released in November 2011, they sold out of promotional copies in less than two weeks and have been building the hype continuing to gig around London. In May 2012, the band released their first video for 'Homeless Cowboy' and looking to keep this momentum, a collaboration between the band and Russian director and photographer Andrei Manirko is in progress for a videoclip of 'Watery Paths'.

Unwilling to compromise their devotion to growing as artists and as a collective, if 'End It' tells us anything, it's that Kruk is onto something big.
