New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Female fronted hard rock band Oblivious Signal is set to play main stage at MIACON; a three day conference filled with top industry names, pool parties, and the best bands in Florida.
As over 50 bands and industry professionals do it up Miami style June 29th, 30th and 31st with daytime panel discussions, afternoon social mixers pool side, and nights filled with live music in every genre Florida has to offer, Oblivious Signal will take the stage at midnight on Saturday with a new set and never before performed new music.
"We have been avidly writing and feel like there is no better place to debut the new music from our upcoming album than at this conference." Frontwoman Cristina T. Feliciano stated in an interview. "We are really excited about playing this show and seeing some familiar faces in the industry. We hope to gain a new fanbase not just within Miami but from the many different locations being represented at the conference."
With a new album in the works Oblivious Signal is spending much of their time in the studio, but also taking time to play out at significant shows like this one, giving them the opportunity to get crowd reaction to the songs as they are being developed.
"As musicians it's hard to beat a weekend of having beers by the pool with serious industry professionals and other hard working members of the scene. It's a chance to exchange ideas and get to know each other in a casual setting," Feliciano added.
It will be the premiere debut of 4 new songs off the upcoming album and band members will be giving away free CDs at the show.

$10 a day for Friday and Saturday. Sunday is free. MIACON will showcase music of all genres with workshops, discussion panels, music project critiques, parties, festivals and much more. Conference is open to all independent artists, bands, producers, DJs, managers, photographers, graphic designers, web designers, record labels and the general public.
All events are family friendly until 11pm, after 21 & over.
