 NEW YORK (Jadakiss Fans Website) - The rapper Jadakiss, whose real name is Jason T. Phillips and he has the No. 4 album on the Billboard 200 chart this week, was charged on Monday in Fayetteville, North Carolina for possession of two loaded hanguns and marijuana. The rapper was in town for a weekend appearance at the Carolina Live club to promote his new hit album, Kiss Of Death. Around 2:45 p.m., Jadakiss and seven other men were cited by an off-duty police officer when he noticed firecrackers being thrown from the rapper's SUV window. The officer approached the vehicle and asked the occupants to stop throwing firecrackers but they continued. According to police reports, the officer identified himself as a police officer, stopped the vehicle and saw the marijuana which was found to be less than one ounce. The officer then asked for consent to search the vehicle at which time he found two concealed .45-caliber Ruger pistols under a pillow. Police also found two clips in the loaded gun that contained 15 bullets each, the report said. Jadakiss was cited for possession of the loaded handguns and marijuana possession. No one else in the vehicle was cited. He is scheduled to appear in court at 9am on July 28th to face the misdemeanors.
