SAN DIEGO (www.urbangospelalliance.com) - On July 10, 2004 at St. Stephens Cathedral Church of God In Christ( 1:00 PM), Dean's Vision Promotions in conjunction with the Urban Gospel Alliance will present "Urban Gospel Day."
This event will be the kick off to the Urban Gospel Industry Awards & National Conference to be held on July 14-17 at the Riverside Convention Center, Riverside CA.

PANEL DISCUSSION
There will be a panel discussion, "What Place Does Urban Worship Have In The Body Of Christ?" Which will include San Diego notable ministers, artists and radio personalities such as: Pastor Archie Robinson ( New Birth Christian Center), Leonard Thompson (CEO MANDATE Records), Alvin White (Gold Dust Management), Rachel Reid (Recording Artist), Elvert Waltower, Jr. (CEO CAP Records) and Adrian Ewing (Founder of Steps Of Praise Dance Ministry).

ABOUT URBAN GOSPEL INDUSTRY AWARDS AND CONFERENCE
Held in Riverside, CA from July 14th - 17th, the UGI conference will be bridging the gap between churches and urban gospel ministers, empowering those who bring light to the streets with education, networking, and performance opportunities. We will be raising the praise during three days of informative information and networking opportunities culminating in the first annual UGA Industry Awards Show celebrating the best in alternative Christian entertainment, including neo-soul, rhythm & praise, comedy, jazz, spoken word, and holy hip hop.
