New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Jonas Public Relations) Maurice can be described as a lucky guy. The past couple of years have been an amazing experience for the artist who attributes much of his success to God, whom he credits for playing a huge role in directing his path and sending the right people his way.
In 2005, Maurice landed 4 songs on the soundtrack for the film Derailed (featuring actors Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen). Having such an honor bestowed on this young musician only fueled his passion more and was a sign that he was destined for great things. A year later, Maurice was called upon to sing the National Anthem at the 2006 NBA playoffs. This phenomenal opportunity pushed him into the spotlight where he performed one of the most difficult songs to sing in front of thousands of people. Shortly after that his song "Baby" was picked up for Quentin Tarantino's film The Protector and also a second time for the Spike TV series Afro Samurai featuring Samuel L. Jackson. A second song for the Afro Samurai Series "R U Still Gonna Roll" was used as well.
At a very young age, Maurice had to face questions of how to set himself apart from all of the other talented artists. He came to the conclusion that he would just be himself and appeal to those that love and respect him and his music. Currently he has released his buzz single " Love Letter" and official single "Run-De-Town" and is very excited to continue on his destined path and would love for you to join him.
