Canadian Urban Funk Singer Amanda Davids To Play NXNE And Headline A Stage At Oakville Jazz Festival
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Amanda Davids Official Website) Recently returning from a successful spring 2012 UK tour Amanda Davids has unleashed her debut EP "Distinguishable inDifference" on a world stage. Sharing a stage with world renowned producer Jazzie B "Soul to Soul" in Brixton, London, Davids continues to gather attention as a new force in urban soul. Taking inspiration from fusion Jazz /Funk and Urban innovators before her, such as Herbie Hancock, Soulive, Medeski Martin & Wood and The Roots, Davids has created her own unique musical vision.

Her next move finds her performing in Canada's largest independent music festival 2012 North by North East. Performing at one of Toronto's reputable urban-jazz venues C'est What, Davids also brings her modern, boundless fusion of sounds to the indie scene.

One of the most notable characteristics of Davids' music is its cross-genre appeal. Fusing elements of hip-hop, jazz and funk into a seldom heard contemporary mix of sounds, Davids draws a fan base from a diverse audience. Invited back to perform for the second time Davids also looks forward to headlining a stage at the 2012 Downtown Oakville Jazz Festival.

With emphasis on improvisation and unusual arrangements Davids' live performance is something to experience. Her arsenal of instruments includes the Piano, Hammond organ and a powerful three-and-a-half-octave soul voice. Either performing solo or accompanied by her team of musical specialists, Amanda Davids is ready to move the world to her music.
