"I have friends who are some of the biggest Meat Loaf fans on earth. What they tell me makes this artist so special, is the intensity and passion of his live shows. There's no better stage than DPAC's to bring this concert to life with great sound and the intimate atmosphere that only a concert at DPAC can deliver," said Bob Klaus, GM of DPAC.

For the past 35 years, the man born Marvin Lee Aday has been a towering monument on the musical landscape. His legendary 1977 album Bat Out Of Hell transformed this former high school football player, nightclub bouncer and stage actor into one of the great American rock 'n' roll icons. Bat Out Of Hell defined the arena rock genre and remains as one of the world's five top-selling albums of all-time, with more than 43 million copies sold to date. His latest work, Hell in a Handbasket is a thematic record that crosses genres, featuring contributors--rappers Chuck D and Lil Jon, country star Trace Adkins, and Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath.

Joining Meat Loaf onstage will be his longtime band The Neverland Express: guitarist Paul Crook (who also produced the Hell in a Handbasket album), John Miceli (drums, percussion), Patti Russo (lead and backing vocals), Randy Flowers (guitars, vocals), David Luther (saxophone, vocals) Justin Avery (piano, organ, keyboard, vocals), Danny Miranda (electric and upright bass) and Ginny Luke (violin, vocals).
