New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Erez & The End Official Website) New York City based Band Erez and the End will unveil a new genre of Rock music at "Bar 11" in New York City on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Named "LP-Era Rock," the new genre refers to current Rock music that recalls the excitement and emotions of Folk, Blues and Country, and the great poetic tradition of Singer-Songwriters. The term was coined by producer / musician
Craig Dreyer (of Mighty Toad Recording Studio in Brooklyn, New York) during Erez and the End's recording sessions of their debut EP "Silent Mountains" (February 2012). Erez and the End will perform songs from the EP and other original songs between 9-10pm on Tuesday, the 24th.
Located on 11th Street between Avenues A & B, the 11th Street Bar is the place to listen to vibrant, live music in the company of good friends! Expect the stage show to be intense, elegant and soulful, with the band's four members on stage including: Erez Eisenman - lead vocals / guitar / harmonica, Nic
Travis - guitar / backing vocals,
Bennett Miller - bass / backing vocals, and Chris Infusino - drums.
Erez and the End are awaiting the release of their debut EP "Silent Mountains," which is currently available for free download on their website www.ErezAndTheEnd.com. As in the classic "
Vinyl" era of the 1960's and 70's, the songs are recorded to tape and the production is fully analog. There are no computers used during the recording process or the mix. This approach maintains the warm, natural sound of the instruments and the emotion the songs convey.
