DuBois, PA (Top40 Charts/ DuBois Concert Association) It was announced today that DuBois Concert Association will host another remarkable Three Concert Series that boasts two sought-after tribute performances. Association membership tickets will go on sale starting April 10, 2012.
This season's lineup offers crowd-pleasing tributes to two music icons:
John Denver and Floyd Cramer. Ted Vigil not only strikes an impressive resemblance to Denver, his voice echoes the musical memories of a generation who grew to appreciate Colorado, if only through song. Acclaimed pianist and Country
Music Hall of Famer, Floyd Cramer is fittingly paid homage by his grandson, Jason Cramer Coleman who aptly personifies his legendary grandfather's legacy.
The DuBois Concert Association hosts a "Classic Irish Christmas" with none other than Andy Cooney, dubbed "Irish America's Favorite Son" by the New York Times. Since playing to a sold out crowd at Carnegie Hall in 2009, Cooney has been busily singing around the world and out at sea, but will usher in the holiday season with concert goers in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
"We are genuinely pleased and humbled at the talent we're about to be entertained by this year. We expect to see a packed hall because these concerts are exactly what people in our area request and enjoy." says Bob Moline, Vice President of the DCA.
Members of the Association not only enjoy yearly 3-concert series, but also discounts from local restaurants on the day of each concert. Participating restaurants include the DuBois Diner, Luigi's Ristorante, Eat 'n Park and Perkins Restaurant and Bakery. Reciprocity agreements with area associations, Lewistown, and Punxsutawney allow DCA members to attend their shows also. Membership tickets can be purchased at the DuBois Concert Association office (814-371-3266). If seating remains available after Membership sales, per concert tickets cost $45. All concerts are held at the DuBois Middle School, located at 404
Liberty Blvd in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
