LostAlone Single 'Love Will Eat You Alive' Added To Radio 1 Playlist
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mercenary Publicity) LostAlone are set to release a second single from their new album 'I'm A UFO In This City' which went to No.7 in the Indie charts last week. 'Love Will Eat You Alive' will be available on 1st April 2012 via Graphite Records, along with exclusive non album track, 'A Ritualistic Mirage Of The Mind'. An 'ET' (yes, that ET!) version of the single will also be available on the iTunes version only.

"Love Will Eat You Alive" has just been added to the Radio 1 playlist.

"They make music that no one else can." Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance)

"If Muse and The Who had a secret love child then LostAlone may just be it." Jared Leto (30 Seconds To Mars)

"This second album could well provide the international breakthrough they seek." The Daily Mirror

"Heavy, churning guitars and moody angst-filled vocals create something dark, sticky and gleefully teenage." The Sun

"I'm A UFO In This City is an exuberant rush of virtuosity and showmanship and it can only be a matter of time before this unabashed explosion of deadly hooks, dirty riffs and lighter aloft ballads regularly sell out stadiums." 8/10 NME

"This is an album with ambition in its loins, steeped in melodrama and an innate understanding that rock isn't about being bashful. LostAlone understand that it's about bombast, being ridiculous and pushing your act, attitude and amps up to 11." KKKK Kerrang

"Breathtaking Queen style harmonies and classic metal bite." Classic Rock

"Complex, ambitious, brave, inspiring, exciting, interesting, boundary breaking…LostAlone are one of the most exciting bands the UK has to offer." 10/10 Ourzone

"There is a real anthemia feel to Love Will Eat You Alive, not to mention that Steven's vocals are on top form... 2012 is set to be a mammoth year from the boys from Derby." 5/5 Female First

"This is Radiohead on speed, but wholly more appealing…4/5/5 Total Biker FM

'Love Will Eat You Alive' was produced by Jacknife Lee (Weezer, U2, REM, Bloc Party) and Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, NIN, Foo Fighters). Singer Steven Battelle says "Love will eat you alive comes directly from what I like to call "self dream plagiarism" which involves me effectively stealing songs from my unconscious self. This can be as simple as waking up and remembering a snapshot of music or in the case of this song, I attended and watched an imaginary band performing the entire song then simply woke up and demoed it intact."

LostAlone are currently touring their new album on a giant UK/Irish tour with InMe. A full list of dates can be found over at https://www.lostalone.com/tour. They also have an album launch show at The Victoria Suite in Derby on Sat 7th April 2012. Info here https://bit.ly/zK9Bj7

30 Seconds to Mars, Enter Shikari, Paramore and My Chemical Romance have specifically requested LostAlone as their support band on arena tours across the UK and Europe. The band have also played numerous high-profile festival appearances including Taste of Chaos, Give it a Name, Download, Rock am Ring, Rock Im Park, T in the Park, Oxegen, Reading and Leeds. They were nominated for 'Best British newcomer' at the Kerrang! Awards and listed in Bruce Dickson's 'Top 5 singles' for BBC 6 Music.

LostAlone are Steven Battelle (vocals/guitar), Alan Williamson (bass/vocals) and Mark Gibson (drums/vocals).
