Los Angeles, CA/Atlanta, GA (Top40 Charts/ S&H Public Relations) Since early January, aspiring rappers across the nation have been trying to beat a February 3rd deadline by flooding the 2012
National MC Search with their music submissions in hopes of grabbing the number one spot. S&H Public Relations, who partnered with Hip Hop Wired to spearhead the contest, has been hard at work selecting finalists. With the help of a panel of Hip Hop heavyweights including Rapper Big Pooh, underground icon Torae, and Kareem Fort, executive producer of "
Demos", taking on the role of judges, the three remaining finalists have been selected. Their fates are now in the hands of the readers of HipHopWired.com who will have from February 13 to February 20 to vote for their favorite.
The finalists, MaG, Rello Hill, and Yahzilla are competing for a grand prize which includes:
• A part in the upcoming Hip Hop film, "
Demos"
• A song on the film's soundtrack
• A featured interview on Conspiracy Worldwide Radio
• Publicity on a variety of popular Hip Hop sites
• And more…
Carey Harris, co-founder of S&H Public Relations is looking forward to crowing the winner and tells the finalists, "Congrats for keeping your sound original and not conforming to the traditional sound being played on terrestrial radio. Hip Hop is forever changing and your musical art form could be the sound that the people choose to carry them into the new era."
To vote for your favorite rapper, go to https://tinyurl.com/6sw4ehn between Feb.13 and Feb. 20 and let your voice be heard. The winner will be announced the week of February 20.
