FULTON COUNTY, GA (Rap Digest Online) - A Fulton County convict dressed in hospital scrubs managed to slip away from the jail while guards allowed a rapper to film a music video at the facility. Clifford Harris, who goes by the stage name "T.I.", is part of a work release program in Cobb County, officials confirmed Friday. He is assigned to work at Atlanta's LaFace Records from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. daily and the rest of time, he is in custody. He was convicted on drug charges and a probation violation. Cobb County's sheriff gave him special permission to go the Fulton County Jail from 6 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. to tape the video. Fulton County Sheriff Jackie Barrett said she was unaware of the filming. "I'm not at all happy about that. We are understaffed, overworked, and to have this occur in the middle of that really, really, really bothers me," she said. "The deputies that were on the floor where it occurred were normally working there, but I've got to still find out if any other deputies were involved," Barrett told 11Alive News Reporter Jon Shirek Friday. The video is to be played an introduction to a T.I. concert. Producers wanted to show the rapper's new start – he is about to end his stint in the justice system – by having some shots of him leaving the jail. They spent an hour in the Seven North Tower of the jail, an area reserved for the toughest inmates. Some inmates were moved into the area where the shooting was taking place. Officials said Harris did nothing wrong in the incident.
