Chucho Valdes Sells Out Carnegie Hall, With Special Guest, Buika
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Workman Entertainment & Public Relations) Legendary Cuban pianist and composer Chucho Valdés played to a sold out Carnegie Hall on Saturday, January 21 and was joined by special guest, Spanish jazz, flamenco, Neo-Soul singer Buika

The audience gave Valdés and Buika a rousing standing ovation as Buika rejoined Chucho and the Afro-Cuban Messengers during the encore.

This special show marks the first time since Valdés has played Carnegie Hall since 1978, when he played on the famed stage with Irakere, and the first time Valdés and Buika have performed together in North America. Valdés and Buika recorded El Último Trago together in 2009 as a tribute to Mexican singer Chavela Vargas.

Valdés tour continues throughout the US through February 20.
