New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ MVD Entertainment Group) BUG Live at 9:30 Club: In the Hands of the Fans is the visual document of a reunited Dinosaur Jr. (J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Emmett "Murph" Murphy) performing live at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC, June 2011. Through an online contest, six fans were selected to film Dinosaur Jr. performing "Bug" in its entirety. This production details the fans' joy as they witness a classic performance and meet their heroes face to face in an exclusive interview with the band.

Under the awesome direction of Dave Markey (The Year Punk Broke), In the Hands of the Fans brings the fans closer to the band and the music closer to you. It includes bonus footage of Henry Rollins speaking candidly to Markey about the band, and interviewing them on stage before the show.

"Since re-forming in 2005, the scorching troika of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph have astonished all who dared doubt their late '90s vintage gnarl could have retained every ounce of its power," declares MOJO Magazine, and this show would prove to be no different. J and the boys sound as tight as ever as they blaze through classic songs like "Freak Scene," "Let It Ride," and "Pond Song," and finish the set with a fan singing on the emotionally draining "Don't."

MVD Entertainment Group, an industry leader in producing and distributing music-related audiovisual content, launched the In the Hands of the Fans series with the intention of utilizing the energy and talents of fans who, by means of an online video submission contest, win the opportunity to film a performance of their favorite band in HD and then interview the band members after the performance. The result is a high quality, low cost, unique program that is part concert film and part reality TV show.

Mascis is the thirteenth person to be polyresinated by Aggronautix. In May of 2009, the company launched with the popular G.G. Allin "1991" figure, which quickly sold out of the 2000 limited edition numbered units manufactured.
