New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ People's Choice Awards Official Website) Winners for PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 were announced during a live broadcast hosted by Kaley Cuoco at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on Wednesday, January 11th (9:00 - 11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. To determine the winners, fans cast a record-breaking 230+ million votes on PeoplesChoice.com, the official People's Choice Awards Facebook app and Twitter. Two categories remained open for online voting through the first hour of the broadcast - 2 Broke Girls was chosen as "Favorite New TV Comedy," while Person of Interest was chosen as "Favorite New TV Drama."

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 featured the return of "Favorite Movie Star Under 25" a category presented by Moviefone, which was awarded to Chloƫ
Grace Moretz. In one of the highlights of the evening,
Morgan Freeman was presented the inaugural "Favorite Movie Icon" award, a custom-made trophy designed by Waterford Crystal. Waterford Crystal is the official designer and manufacturer of the People's Choice Awards trophies and recipients across all 43 categories receive an official Waterford Crystal People's Choice Award.
