Jay James Picton Releases New Track 'Heads Vs. Hearts' Ft. Booker T. Jones

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Purple PR) Never one to do things by the book, singer songwriter, Jay James Picton has embarked on a unique way of delivering his music to the masses.

Having recently signed to Decca/Universal and working with the likes of John Legend and Booker T for his forthcoming debut album, Jay James Picton is making his mark both here in the UK and State side. Pulling influences from across the board, his raw vocals and blues infused ballads along with a contagious personality create a truly inspiring sound.

Jay will premiere his first few songs as part of a three part short film series, kicking off with heartfelt crescendo, 'Battle Call'. Only to be shortly followed by stripped back soulful 'Long May They Roll' before releasing the final track, 'Heads Vs. Hearts' featuring Grammy Award winner Booker T. Jones.

Finally a seamless amalgamation of all three tracks will be released, accompanied by Jay's Heads vs. Hearts mixtape which is to include all three songs plus further bonus tracks.

Jay has recently returned from America working on his debut record set for release in early 2012.
