Inside The Mind Of Hip Hop's Newest Artist JR Speakz

Grammy Award winner, Earle Holder stated, "Just my two cents, you should be pushing this." During a private album release party, Trey Mullins, owner of Studio III stated, "SpeakZ has a great story telling ability with solid lyrics." Though this is his first official album, JR's first mix tape entitled, "Last One Standing", painted a vivid picture of his journey to his latest creation, "Different State of Mind."

Being one of four members of a rap group called Universal Hustlaz, JR's lyrics dominated each track and his mysterious demeanor intrigued his audience. After leaving Universal Hustlaz, JR, then known as YellaBoi, worked tirelessly to complete his first mix tape, "Last One Standing", a true testament of what it means to hustle and left fans wanting more.

When asked why the name change. JR stated, "YellaBoi was a name people gave me but JR SPEAKZ is who I am. It's my time to speak and I'm speaking the truth, my truth. A truth that relates to the everyday person trying to figure out this thing called life. I'm not a rapper, I'm your life coach."
