OneRepublic has been nominated for two GRAMMY Awards. Capping off a year where
OneRepublic has topped the charts Tedder was recognized by The Recording Academy as the nominations for the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards were announced in a live broadcast on CBS this week.
Tedder received a GRAMMY nod in two categories: Album of the Year for Adele's "21," which he co-wrote and produced the song "
Rumour Has It" and co-wrote "Turning Tables," as well as a nomination for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical for his work with Adele, Beyonce, Cobra Starship, Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw,
Jennifer Hudson and Demi Lovato.
Says Tedder of the recognition, ""A Grammy nomination is such an honor. I feel privileged to be in the company of such talented artists."
Ryan Tedder is no stranger to the GRAMMYS. For the 51st annual GRAMMY Awards he and his band
OneRepublic were nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "Apologize," the first single off their 2007 debut set Dreaming Out Loud which shattered digital sales and airplay records and sold 10 million copies worldwide. Tedder was also nominated in the Record of the Year category for
Leona Lewis' "
Bleeding Love" which he co-wrote, produced and engineered. Tedder also received GRAMMY nods in the top two categories for the 52ndannual GRAMMY Awards for his work with Beyonce; Record of the Year for "Halo," which he co-write and produced, and Album of the Year for "I Am…Sasha Fierce."
