Cathy Coburn, mother of a recent Boston area registrant, Kris Dery, says, "This is such an exciting competition; thank you for this opportunity. Legitimizing this genre with this kind of exposure for people from this neck of the woods is pretty exciting. I don't think New Hampshire is the place folks typically think to look for 'up and coming' rappers--this opportunity is pumping lots of hope, direction, toil and talent into reaching for the stars--reaching for one's dreams."
