Jay-Z as his stalwart influences. For 7Even, the bigger the influence, the more he studied them. From being an ordinary mimic, he became his own MC with a vision and a voice.
In 1993, 7Even officially began his music career as a new artist with the group SAP. His moniker became 007 - he became the
James Bond of the ghetto. It stuck and now he wears it like a badge.
With the release of his latest project 'The Uprise of 7Even', it tells the story of a man's rise from his humble beginnings and then reaching the summit of fame and fortune. It's a revealing record with no gimmicks and no fiction. 'I think it's important to show the listeners your true self. As for me, I have always been a character and everyone that knows me knows that. I can turn any situation into a good one', 7Even says.
