Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Hip hop artist
Kevin Kartier recently released his mixtape "The Mile High Club." Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes presents the project, which is now available for free download. "The Mile High Club" features
Kevin Kartier on tracks with artists such as Killa Kyleon, Goose, CyHi The Prynce, Richie Gatti, and Laws. Production is added by Skinny D of Untamed Muzik, Supa Villian, DJ Burn One, T-Skhilz, and
Dizzy Beats.
Kevin Kartier is a 22 year-old, up-and-coming artist from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The recently tragedy stricken area has been devastated by two major disasters in the past five years. Despite these obstacles, Kartier was able to stay focused and maintain a persistent presence on the Internet, beginning with his DJ Smallz-hosted mixtape "The Crown and The Crest" (2009). After getting that crucial first look, Kartier, along with his business partner Tevaar Smith, began their unbelievable
Internet grind, which resulted in his dropping two more projects by the end of the year: the DJ Rell-hosted "Persistently Consistent" (2009) and the "The Coronation: The Reign Begins…" (2009) hosted by UK native DJ Ames. After those releases, the duo capitalized on their momentum by dropping "GameTime" (2010) which featured the songs "
The Set Up" featuring Bricso (Cash Money/Young Money/Poe Boy) and "On Smash" featuring CyHi The Prynce (GOOD Music/Konvict/Def Jam), both produced by Skinny D of Untamed Muzik.
The duo would continue to network and grind throughout 2010 meeting many influential and informative individuals along the way. By continuing to build on their network, the duo were able to create a buzz for
Kevin Kartier's acclaimed free album Katrinaville, which was presented by the duo's
Aviator Gang and blogsites Refined Hype and The Sermon's Domain. The project featured Kartier linking up with Atlanta MC CyHi The Pyrnce on the track "Believe That" produced by T-Skhilz. With an overall positive reception, Katrinaville and tracks from it were posted on many popular hip hop sites including, AllHipHop.com, LiveMixtapes.com, DJBooth.net, and many more.
Kevin Kartier then formally introduced his
Aviator Gang (AvG) with his mixtape "Aviator Gang," which was co-hosted by The Sermon's Domain, YK2Daily.net, and Good*Fella Media. The tape was posted on many major hip hop sites including the Source magazine's official website, TheSource.com. The tape has yielded a video for the DJ Burn One-produced song "Burn 1," which has been followed by two more, "Lookin' For Trouble (AvGmix)" and "What He Say?" "Aviator Gang" serves as the prequel for Kartier's free album "The Mile High Club."
