Nickelback Gives A Quarter Back For Education

ALEXANDRIA, Va. and DETROIT (Top40 Charts/ United Way Worldwide) Nickelback, in partnership with Roadrunner Records and United Way Worldwide, have announced that the band will donate a quarter to United Way education programs for every person who takes United Way's pledge between now and December 31, 2011 to become a volunteer reader, tutor or mentor for education. Multi-platinum recording artist Nickelback is teaming up with United Way and the National Football League for the 13th annual United Way Thanksgiving Halftime Show during the first game of the NFL's tripleheader when the Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, November 24 at 12:30 PM ET on FOX.
