The Independents To Drop New Vinyl Album 'Eternal Bond'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Zero Youth Records) South Carolina legendary horror-ska punk-rockers The Independents are releasing their best-seller, 'Eternal Bond' album on vinyl through Midwest punk staple Zero Youth Records. First run will be a limited pressing on colored wax and will be available through both the label and the band in just a few weeks.

Boasting some of The Independents' most popular songs, tracks like "Baby Doll" and "Alone", Eternal Bond is also The Independents' biggest selling album to date. Zero Youth will be pressing a limited run of 250 copies, on collectible colored vinyl, for release in early 2012.

Formed in 1992 by Evil Presly and Willy B, The Independents were born out of the frustration of stereotypical music. Willy B and Evil both love horror and sci-fi movies and wanted to find some way to include that in their music. Evil started writing lyrics that told horrific tales, while Willy B kept the guitar in one hand and gave the entire world the finger with the other. Their only goal is playing the music they want; when, where, and how they want.

The Independents have toured as main support for such bands as the Ramones, Misfits, Rancid, Cheap Trick, Mighty Mighty Bostones, Less Than Jake, and Blondie as well as headlining their own tours. These ghouls, who put the 'fun' back in funeral, have been known to tour up to ten months a year with their unique, highly energetic, party-esque, horror-influenced music.

Zero Youth Records was born in 2003 to smash faces with punk rock dreams in the Midwest. We are currently taking over the world.
