Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa Set To Release Highly-anticipated Collaborative Soundtrack To Upcoming Film; "Mac And Devin Go To High School: The Soundtrack" Is Available Everywhere On December 13, 2011
NEW YORK, NY (Top40 CHarts/ Atlantic Records) Doggystyle recording artist Snoop Dogg and Rostrum/Atlantic recording artist Wiz Khalifa have teamed up to release the soundtrack to their upcoming film, "Mac and Devin Go To High School." The collaborative album, which features the Bruno Mars-assisted first single, "Young, Wild & Free," will be available everywhere on December 13th. The Smeezingtons-produced track serves as the first offering from the companion soundtrack to the film, which the two rappers are dubbing a "buddy film." The video for "Young, Wild & Free" was shot in Los Angeles and was directed by the film's director, Dylan Brown.

What's more, the two rappers have announced an exclusive, 6-city tour, being dubbed "The High School Tour." The run will see Snoop and Wiz bringing the sounds of 'Mac and Devin' to smaller, more intimate venues nationwide, kicking off on December 5th at New York's Terminal 5.

About "Mac And Devin Go To High School"
The film, set in a Los Angeles high school, sees Valedictorian hopeful Devin Overstreet (Wiz Khalifa) struggling to pen his graduation speech when it becomes clear that all his academic overachievements have left him with little to no real-life experiences. He finds an unlikely inspiration in the least-achieving student on campus, Mac Johnson (Snoop Dogg.) Mac, a 15-year senior and consummate ladies man, is smitten by the school's new substitute chemistry teacher. He soon realizes that the only way he'll truly have a chance with her is if he finally graduates high school. In 3 weeks time, Mac must cram four years of high school academics, while Devin must cram four years of teenage experience.
